Legends of 29 — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 October 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Legends of 29 ("the App") handles information when you use it. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

Account information

If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, profile picture, and email address from that provider. If you sign in with Apple, you may choose a private relay email address, and Apple may withhold your name. If you choose to play as a guest, we create an anonymous account identifier with our sign-in provider (Firebase Authentication); no personal information is collected. Guests do not earn coins, XP, or statistics. A guest's match history is kept only on the phone and is deleted when the guest signs out or when someone signs in.

Gameplay data

Stored with your account: your XP and level, win and loss record, hands played and won, bids, highest bid, game points, match and hand history, the players you have recently played with online, the coins you have earned, and the cosmetic items (tables and card backs) you have unlocked with coins. A copy is kept on your device so the App works offline.

Coins

Coins are earned by playing multiplayer games. They cannot be bought with real money. The App contains no in-app purchases.

Friends

Each account has a 6-letter friend code. Other signed-in players can find you by your exact email address or your friend code in order to send you a friend request. If someone enters an exact email address, they can tell whether it belongs to a player. We store your friends list and the friend requests you have sent and received. Your online status (online, in a lobby, in a match, or offline with a last-seen time) is visible to your friends, and so are the invitations you send to friends to join a room.

Multiplayer state

While you are participating in an online match, the seat you occupy, your readiness state, and your in-game actions (bids, plays, declarations) are visible to the other players in your room for the duration of the match. In local-network (Wi-Fi) matches, game data travels directly between the devices on your network; if you are signed in, your results are still recorded to your account.

Chat and emotes

In-game chat messages and emotes are shown to the players in your room for the duration of the match.

Diagnostic data

If the App crashes, crash reports are sent through Firebase Crashlytics to help us identify and resolve defects. These reports do not contain personal information.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information described above solely to operate the App (sign-in, matchmaking, multiplayer state synchronization, friends and invitations), to display your statistics, history, coins, and unlocked items, and to diagnose and fix defects.

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share your information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage and Retention

Information is stored on secure cloud infrastructure operated under industry-standard security practices. Match-specific data (room state, in-progress hands) is deleted automatically when a match ends. Your profile, statistics, history, coins, unlocked items, and friends data persist until you request deletion.

4. Your Choices

5. Children

The App is rated for general audiences. It contains no in-app purchases.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be surfaced in-app on next launch.
